        <p>Restitution et ajout de l'auteur n'ont longtemps fait qu'une macro. Ils
        ont été séparés le 26 septembre 2026 par une règle vérifiable dans le
        fichier, non par une relecture : un ajout accolé au mot qu'il complète
        est une restitution (<hi rend="monospace">supplied</hi>), un ajout
        isolé est de l'auteur (<hi rend="monospace">add</hi>). Certains
        <hi rend="monospace">add</hi> sont donc encore des restitutions du
        transcripteur, que seuls les fac-similés départageront.</p>
        <p>Les mathématiques sont transportées en TeX dans
        <hi rend="monospace">formula[@notation='TeX']</hi>, les diagrammes
        commutatifs en <hi rend="monospace">formula[@notation='tikz-cd']</hi>,
        sans conversion. Une marque d'apparat située à l'intérieur d'une
        formule (un exposant illisible, un symbole biffé) reste dans le TeX de
        la formule, sous les mêmes macros.</p>
        <p>Orthographe, ponctuation et lapsus de l'auteur sont conservés ; une
        faute évidente est signalée par une note, jamais corrigée.</p>

<p>1) Pour groupes finis opérant sur surfaces : utiliser « th. de Smith »
(suites spectrales) pour prouver que le lieu des points fixes est une
variété homologique du pt de vue local – donc <gap reason="illegible"/> loc. connexe,
donc connexe par arcs…</p>
<p>2) Exemple de Bing d'une involution de <formula notation="TeX">B^3</formula> ayant un cercle de pts fixes
sauvage (sphère <add><unclear>genre</unclear></add> <unclear>cornue</unclear> d'Alexander)
mais, dans la <gap reason="illegible"/> : <formula notation="TeX">S^2=\partial B^3</formula> <gap reason="illegible"/> la conj. complexe.</p>
<p>3) Il doit y avoir des actions <add>simpliciales</add> de groupes finis sur

il ne doit pas être <gap reason="illegible"/> <gap reason="illegible"/>.</p>

<formula notation="TeX">\mathfrak{G}^{+}_{5}\subset S^3/\pm1</formula> (<formula notation="TeX">=SO(3,\mathbb{R})</formula>), image de
<formula notation="TeX">\Gamma</formula>, <formula notation="TeX">\mathfrak{G}^{+}_{5}=\mathfrak{A}</formula>. Considérons

forme quadratique invariante est (de <unclear>signe</unclear> <gap reason="illegible"/>) de
signature <formula notation="TeX">(1,\dots,1)</formula> – ce qui signifie que la sphère unité se
décompose en deux composantes <hi rend="italic">connexes simplement connexes</hi> :
c'est une des composantes qui <add>doit</add> jouer le rôle de la
