<p>Proof : <del>the last</del> It remains to prove the last statement, which follows
from corollary 1. Here by « strict test category » we mean strict <formula notation="TeX">W</formula>-test

course, as condition (i) does not depend on <formula notation="TeX">W</formula>, we may take in the last
conclusion <formula notation="TeX">W = W_{\infty}</formula>, which is the strongest — but we got this already
by prop. 3 directly, for any non trivial contractor. Thus the complement about
<formula notation="TeX">A</formula> being a test or strict test category is interesting mainly, when we do not
assume beforehand that <formula notation="TeX">A</formula> is a contractor. So I'll have to clarify the points
a) and b) of remark 2 above.</p>
<p>After a minute<supplied resp="#pass">'</supplied>s thought, I feel very silly to find out that point a) is
about trivial — that I have been dragging for months the notion of a
total<supplied resp="#pass">ly</supplied> <formula notation="TeX">W</formula>-aspheric category <formula notation="TeX">A</formula>, without taking the trouble to sit down
and look whether it really depends on <formula notation="TeX">W</formula>, and at the same time, whether the

<formula notation="TeX">W</formula>-aspheric ! So let's clean it up in the long last !</p>
<p><hi rend="bold">Proposition 4.</hi> Let <formula notation="TeX">A</formula> be any small category, <formula notation="TeX">W</formula> a basic localizer
